Accelerated Reader is a
computer learning system that assesses student
comprehension of the books they read.
Students read a book then
take a short quiz on it. They get points awarded
based on the number of questions correctly
answered and the difficulty and length of the
book. Points are accumulated throughout each
marking period and can be "spent" at the AR
store that features different prizes. Students
also reach different Clubs when they achieve a
set amount of points.
